(1) The Government of Nepal shall form a recommendation committee as follows to recommend names for the appointment of the Vice President:-
(a) Chairman of the Public Service Commission – Convener
(b) The Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal or the Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers appointed by him - Member (c) One female member appointed by the Government of Nepal among the professors in the field of medicine (2) The recommendation committee under sub-section (1) shall recommend the names of three persons to the Government of Nepal for appointment to the post of Vice President within thirty days from the date of commencement of its work.
(3) The procedure to be followed while recommending a name for appointment to the post of Vice President shall be as determined by the committee itself.
